Public Service Announcement
The State Primary Election will be held on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 for voting on all federal, state and local offices. Rolette County precincts will be open from 9:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. at all polling locations.
Voters are also requested to bring a valid form of identification with them to the polling location. Acceptable forms of ID, which must include a residential address, are a valid driver’s license, valid State ID card, valid federally issued ID, valid Tribal Government issued ID card, valid student ID card, valid United States military ID card, Utility bill dated with 30 days prior to election with name and residential address or a change of address verification letter from US Postal Service.
The Rolette County Auditor’s office will be open from 7:00 A.M. - 5:00 PM for people wishing to take advantage of absentee voting for the Primary Election for federal, state, and local offices. To vote absentee, voters must first complete an application for an absentee ballot. These applications can be picked up in the Auditor’s office or via the internet at Rolette County’s website at rolettecounty.com or ND Secretary of State’s website at www.state.nd.us/sec. Applications can be returned to the Auditor’s office, in person, by mail or by fax to receive an absentee ballot.
Absentee voting can be completed anytime between now and the day before election, June 7, 2010. Absentee ballots must be postmarked or submitted to the Auditor’s office on the day before election, June 7, 2010.
Election results will be available election night online at the Rolette County website: rolettecounty.com.
